Tubal Reversal with High Success Rate

Tubal reversal surgery is required to be carried out in the case of a woman who has had her fallopian tubes surgically tied on an earlier occasion for surgical sterilization procedure and now desires to have the sterilization status annulled. Tubal reversal surgery can be safely carried out at The Center for Fertility and Gynecology (CFG) provided certain conditions are met.

For this procedure to be attempted at least one fallopian tube must be intact and the condition of this tube must be good. The sperm count of the male partner must be high in order that the tubal reversal surgery is successful and fertilization occurs. If pregnancy fails to occur within six months, an X-ray study is carried out to confirm that the tube or tubes are still open. At CFG a success rate of 70% has been reported for tubal reversal within one year. Tubal reversal surgery therefore represents a safe, outpatient surgery with quick recovery, low cost, high success rate and minimal risk.
