Tubal reversal – for Restoring fertility in Women

Infertility is a major area of concern for most couples. Tubal reversal, IVF, and egg donation are few prominent methods that have been developed to address this problem. The various fertility clinics today are well equipped and have the required expertise to perform these procedures and help the couples conceive.

Couples/women often opt for tubal ligation in order to avoid unwanted pregnancy but the choice might change and they may want to conceive again. tubal ligation reversal is the only way to restore fertility in such women. Tubal ligation reversal refers to a process which is performed on the women who had their fallopian tubes severed as part of sterilization process (i.e. the reverse process of tubal ligation). The viability of the procedure depends on the medical condition of the patient. The tubes are reconnected or joined through surgery.

The success rate of tubal reversal depends on different factors such as the age of the woman, the condition of the fallopian tubes, sperm count and quality and other medical conditions. After the surgery, the patient is kept under observation and later medications are prescribed.
