Motherhood is the most emotional thing to have happened to a woman across centuries. But unfortunately, there comes some phases in life wherein a woman can’t conceive, be it for physical reason or for anything that’s not suitable for child birth. For such couple who wants to have a biological child despite the woman’s incapability can opt for surrogacy as an effective means of having biological child. Surrogacy is a process in which another woman carries your child who is impregnated by invitro fertilization or shortly IVF.
The surrogate needs to take fertility medication under the supervision of doctors to stimulate her ovaries. In the process, her eggs are retrieved and fertilized with frozen or fresh sperm of the man from the child seeking couple. The embryos created are transferred into the surrogate’s uterus and she carries that until birth. For those women who have viable eggs but still can’t conceive, they can go for gestational surrogacy where they need a host uterus.
