In-vitro Fertilization Process

There are a lot of assisted reproduction technologies available these days. In-vitro fertilization is one of the best means to render infertile parent/s to enjoy the gift of a child. World-wide reports suggests that the procedure has been successful in nearly 95% of cases.

The procedure starts with retrieving the eggs from an infertile woman and fertilize it with sperms received from her partner - outside the body and in a laboratory conditions. After a successful fertilization phase, the process of embryo transfer takes place. Embryo transfer is the last stage of in-vitro fertilization procedure wherein the fertilized embryo is placed into the uterus of the woman ready to conceive.
