In-vitro fertilization is a method of assisted pregnancy that allows infertile couples to conceive child through a natural process. In this method, a female's eggs are fertilized with sperms to produce embryos in a laboratory condition. Some of the produced embryos are then transferred to a woman's uterus to start a healthy pregnancy. The success of this process lies with the capability of embryos to retrieve eggs and multiply oocytes in order to increase chances of a successful pregnancy. Embryos which are not used, can be frozen or cypopreserved and utilized later for inserting into a woman's uterus.
Often people believe that anyone can go for in-vitro fertilization process. However, this is quite untrue. A couple's age, medical history and other variables decide if they are fit for an in-vitro fertilization process, or not.
